After over two decades of relative professional obscurity as a hotelier and a journalist, Tejeesh ventured into affordable art, believing that it is for the masses, rather than being confined to a few select classes. In a journalistic career spanning 19 years, he’s tracked and written on subjects as diverse as foreign relations, politics, travel and tourism, real estate, telecom and other assorted topics related to business and economy. The genesis of 1000 Words lay in the idea of having an online platform to promote both established and upcoming artists, offering art that was affordable and could be considered a worthwhile investment option. Tejeesh, who has an abiding interest in the performing arts, notably theatre, himself moonlights in photography.
